How about some good news?

I don't know about you all, but I feel like all I have heard lately is bad news mixed with a slight bit of good. Even our yucky inversion here makes you just feel yucky. I decided that it is about time to share some good news, lift our spirits for a minute. Ready?

We are proud to announce the newest Cefalo will be joining our family sometime around August 16. Yep, I have a bun in my oven, isn't that great?! Why is that you feel so blessed to be carrying a new life and at the same time very angry inside that you have to be so darn nauseous all the time? I have come to love cereal and peanut butter sandwiches because they really don't have a smell and actually taste so good. Hopefully as my first trimester is about coming to an end in roughly 2 weeks I'll start feeling good again.

I had my first ultrasound a couple weeks ago and everything looked great. We feel so blessed and are so excited for our new addition!!

That is SO EXCITING! I love the cute picture on your blogpage, too. AWESOME.

Morning/Afternoon/Evening sickness is rough. I still have haunting memories of the aromas of the meat section at the grocery store. Here's hoping yours will go away in a few short weeks. Some women have it their whole pregnancy and end up on an IV at the hospital, more than once. Just as you get over the morning sickness, the heartburn and flatulence will kick in. But, it will all be worth it when you feel your baby kicking and doing somersaults. Then you won't be able to sleep well and will wake up to empty your curiously small bladder several times a night. And when your little bundle of joy arrives, you still won't be able to sleep through the night. Still, the snuggly little angel will make it all worth it. Ahhh, motherhood.

Congratulations Andra. With all the practice you have had as a mom since you have gotten married, I am sure a new baby will be a piece of cake. I am sure you will be as great as a mom to all of your family as your mother is. I hope your morning sickness passes soon.
